Nominations for all 2025 roles opened in August and closed on 31 October 2024. While most roles were filled at the November 2024 NRC Remote meeting, three are still available (Secretary, Marketing & Engagements Officer, and Advocacy Officer).

If you want to join the team, complete your nomination by 9pm AEDT on Sunday 19 January 2025. Elections for the three roles will be held at the NRC Remote meeting on Tuesday 21 January. The 2025 Executive will take office at the conclusion of NRC Conference in February 2025.

Executive positions (24 months):
Chair - National Rover Council

This role leads the National Rover Council Executive and is the Chair of the National Rover Council.  For more information, please read the full duty statement in the NRC By-Laws.

Shaylah McClymont (ACT) is the current NRC Chair, and Bradley Thompson (Tasmania) is the NRC Chair elect (taking office at the conclusion of the NRC Conference in February).

Executive positions (12 months):
Deputy Chair - National Rover Council

This role forms part of the National Rover Council core Executive; nominations opened in late August 2024 and closed on 31 October 2024. For more information, please read the full duty statement in the NRC By-Laws.

Max Manson (Queensland) is the current NRC Vice Chair, and Isabella Mairou (NT) is the NRC Deputy Chair elect (taking office at the conclusion of the NRC Conference in February).

Secretary - National Rover Council

Bradley Thompson (Tasmania) is the current NRC Secretary. Nominations are now open for the 2025 NRC Secretary; please complete your nomination before 9pm AEDT on Sunday 19 January 2025.

Treasurer - National Rover Council

Luke Brydon (Tasmania) was appointed NRC Treasurer in October 2023, was elected for 2024 and recently re-elected for 2025.

Leadership and Development Officer - National Rover Council

Zac Geddes (Victoria) was was appointed NRC Training and Development Officer in October 2023 an was elected for 2024. Matthew Vella (Queensland) was recently elected Leadership and Development Officer (taking office at the conclusion of the NRC Conference in February).

Marketing and Engagements Officer - National Rover Council

James Warren is the current NRC Marketing & Public Relations Officer. Nominations are now open for the 2025 Marketing and Engagements Officer; please complete your nomination before 9pm AEDT on Sunday 19 January 2025.

Events and Initiatives Officer - National Rover Council

Lily Canalese (Queensland) was recently elected Events and Initiatives Officer (taking office at the conclusion of the NRC Conference in February).

Advocacy Officer - National Rover Council

This role forms part of the National Rover Council broader Executive; for more information, please read the full duty statement in the NRC By-Laws. Nominations are now open – please complete your nomination before 9pm AEDT on Sunday 19 January 2025.

This is a new role, though is closest to the roles currently filled by Ben Brice (Environment & Sustainability Officer) and Emma Groeneweg (Diversity & Inclusion Officer).
